New Discoveries and New Directions in Biblical, Hebrew, and Theological Studies

The challenge of translating biblical texts across languages and centuries has shaped both scholarly understanding and religious practice. EHJ 2026 examines how biblical texts have been translated from ancient Hebrew and Greek into modern languages, including contemporary Serbian, French, and other traditions. Sessions explore translation methodologies, the theological implications of interpretive choices, and how historical translations both illuminate and sometimes obscure the original biblical meanings.
